We do regular quality assurance site inspections each week or as deemed necessary by the Engineer of record (EOR) to document and record the progress of the work done and to verify the quality of the work is maintained. At the end of each month, a report is prepared for submittal to the Government agencies to keep them informed of the progress and quality of the work on the project.

All tests (Water & Sewer) must be inspected and passed by the EOR before official testing and witnessing by WSC. Upon completion of the entire infrastructure, the EOR installs a hydrostatic pretest at the request of the Developer to confirm that the water meets the minimum testing requirements of WSC. We also do the flow & lamping tests on the gravity sewer line to ensure perfection on pipe installation. We also do a pressure test on the force main line to check its ability to function under maximum pressure and to ensure that the line does not leak.

The EOR is responsible for arranging bi-weekly project meetings with the client and the contractors (roads, drainage, water, sewer, telecom, & electrical) to coordinate the progress of the work. The EOR also liaises with each contractor throughout the project to ensure timely and harmonic completion of the work.

The EOR meets with the clients during the designing process of the infrastructure to give an update on the progress of the reviews by the various corporations. Please note that the Corporations only communicate with the Engineer of Record for review comments and changes to drawings.

We even get the checklists of drawing requirements to ensure that we work more efficiently from one project to another. The design drawings would then undergo a process of rigorous peer review by any of the company’s associates to ensure the quality of the overall design.
